SUNGSUK KANG South Korea/Austria

darf sich einer internationalen Karriere erfreuen, die sie quer durch Europa, nach Asien sowie nach Nord- und Südamerika geführt hat. Ihre zahlreichen Aufnahmen und Einspielungen für internationale Radio- und Fernsehstationen umfassen Klavierkonzerte von Bach, Mozart, Schumann und Rubinstein, Solowerke von Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Brahms, Debussy und Berg sowie diverse Kammermusik-Aufnahmen.
In Seoul, Südkorea geboren, hat Sung-Suk Kang schon im Alter von 5 Jahren ihren ersten Klavierunterricht erhalten und später am prestigereichen „Seoul Institute of the Arts“ studiert. Außerdem studierte sie in Singapur, in England am Royal Northern College of Music bei Derrick Wyndham und der Hochschule für Musik in Wien bei Paul Badura-Skoda. Sie besuchte Meisterklassen von berühmten Persönlichkeiten wie Vlado Perlemuter, Joseph Kalichstein und Pascal Rogé.
1990 gewann Kang in einem Wettbewerb einen von wenigen, besonders begehrten Studienplätzen am weltweit renommierten Banff Centre for the Arts in Alberta, wo sie mit einigen der führenden internationalen Künstler wie Luis Claret und Zoltan Szekely auftrat.

enjoys an international career that takes her across Europe, to the Far East and to both North and South America. Her many CD recordings and broadcasts for leading international radio and tv networks include concerti by Bach, Mozart, Schumann and Rubinstein, solo works by Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Brahms, Debussy and Berg plus various chamber music recordings.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Sung-Suk Kang received her first piano lesson at age 5 and went on to study at the prestigious Seoul Institute of the Arts. Further training in Singapore was followed by intensive studies at the Royal Northern College of Music in the UK with Derrick Wyndham and the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna with Paul Badura-Skoda. She participated in master classes given by the likes of Vlado Perlemuter, Joseph Kalichstein and Pascal Rogé.
In 1990, among just a handful of other musicians, Kang received one of the very desireable study-places at the world-renowned Banff Centre for the Arts in Alberta, Canada,. Here she performed with leading international performers, such as Luis Claret and Zoltan Szekely.

MAURIZIO MORETTI Italy/France

Während seiner mehr als zwanzigjährigen Karriere hat Maurizio Moretti in den berühmtesten Konzertsälen Europas sowie in Tokio, Peking, Shanghai und vielen anderen Städten gespielt. Er tritt regelmäßig mit renommierten Orchestern und Kammermusikensembles in ganz Europa auf.
Moretti unterzeichnete kürzlich einen Vertrag mit Decca in London, um eine Tschaikowsky gewidmete CD aufzunehmen. Er hat Klavierkonzerte Mozarts (als Solist und Dirigent), zwei CDs für Klavierduo sowie CDs mit Klaviermusik von Liszt und Wagner aufgenommen. Sein nächstes Projekt ist eine Aufnahme von Brahms' Klavierkonzert Nr. 2 zusammen mit dem American National Orchestra. Die Washington Post schrieb über ihn "Ein echter Poet am Klavier ... der magische Klang Morettis machte den Klavierabend zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis."
Geboren in Cagliari, studierte Maurizio Moretti zunächst bei Ida Allegretto am Konservatorium seiner Heimatstadt und dann fünf Jahre lang am CNSM de Paris bei Aldo Ciccolini, der über ihn schrieb: "Eine außergewöhnliche rhythmische Vitalität, eine angeborene musikalische Klangbehandlung und große technische Kapazität charakterisieren sein Klavierspiel. Er ist sicherlich einer der talentiertesten und ursprünglichen Exponenten der italienischen Pianistik".
Maurizio Moretti ist derzeit künstlerischer Leiter des Internationalen Klavierfestival in Cagliari und der Ente Musicale di Nuoro und Accademia Internazionale Pianistica in Italien. Er ist ein hervorragender Klavierprofessor, Lehrtätigkeit an der berühmten Schola Cantorum in Paris. Darüber hinaus wurde er als Gastprofessor an der renommierten Kusatsu Festival und Academy in Japan eingeladen und gab Meisterkurse weltweit, einschließlich an der Budapester Liszt-Akademie, am Shanghai Conservatory, am Beijing Central Conservatory, Barcelona Conservatorio Superiore.eingeladen zurück
During his career spanning more than two decades, Maurizio Moretti has played regularly in the most famous European concert halls, as well as in Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai and many others. He performs regularly with famous orchestras and chamber music ensembles throughout Europe.
Moretti recently signed a contract with the prestigious Decca London to record a CD dedicated to Tchaikovsky. He also recorded Mozart’s piano concertos (solo and conductor), two CDs for piano duo as well as CDs with music by Liszt and Wagner for piano. Next year he will achieve a CD with Brahms Piano Concerto n. 2 together American National Orchestra .The Washington Post wrote about him " a real poet of piano...the magical sound of Moretti trasform the recital in a unforgettable experience".
Born in Cagliari, he studied piano under Ida Allegretto at the Conservatory of his town and then for five years at the CNSM de Paris with Aldo Ciccolini, who wrote about him: "an extraordinary rhythmical vitality, a special inborn musical treatment of sound and a great technical capacity characterize his pianism. He is surely one of the most talented and original exponents of Italian pianism”.
Maurizio Moretti is currently artistic director of the International Piano festival in Cagliari and artistic director of the Ente Musicale di Nuoro and Accademia Internazionale Pianistica in Italy. He is an outstanding piano professor, teaching at the famous Schola Cantorum in Paris. Carol
Morgan wurde in England geboren. Nach dem Studium am Royal College
of Music in London folgte ein längerer Aufenthalt in Deutschland,
wo sie unter anderem bei Alfons Kontarsky studierte. Neben dem klassisch-romantischen
Repertoire ist sie seit vielen Jahren eine herausragende Interpretin
zeitgenössischer Musik, sowohl solistisch als auch in den Bereichen
Lied- und Kammermusik. Nach langjähriger Erfahrung in mehreren
Ensembles tritt sie zunehmend mit spannenden Programmen auf, in
denen sie traditionelles Repertoire mit Werken des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts
kombiniert. Ihre Interpretationen sind gekennzeichnet von unbestechlicher
Texttreue und treffsicherem Gespür für die Verschiedenheit
der unterschiedlichen Kompositionsstile. zurück
Carol Morgan was born in England. After her studies at the Royal
College of Music in London she lived in Germany for some time, where
she studied, among others, with Alfons Kontarsky. Apart from the
classical-romantic repertoire, she has been for many years among
the leading interpreters for the music by contemporary composers,
both for solo piano as also for song and chamber music. After playing
for a long time in various ensembles she now concentrates on exciting
programmes which combine the traditional repertoire with the music
of the 20th and 21st century. Her interpretations are characterized
of incorruptible text loyalty and accurate feeling for the difference

Stephan Möller wurde in Hamburg
geboren. Er erhielt seine Ausbildung als Pianist und Dirigent in
Hamburg, Bremen und Salzburg. Von 1983-89 arbeitete er bei den Salzburger
Festspielen mit Dirigenten wie Herbert von Karajan zusammen. 1985
war er Preisträger des Internationalen Beethoven-Klavierwettbewerbs
Wien. Seine Konzerttätigkeit führt ihn durch ganz Europa,
die USA, Japan und China. Schwerpunkte seines Repertoires sind Beethovens
32 Klaviersonaten und 5 Klavierkonzerte, Liszt-Paraphrasen über
Wagner-Opern und Kompositionen für den Bösendorfer-Computerflügel.
Unter seinen CD-Einspielungen finden sich Raritäten wie Beethovens
Große Fuge und Wagners gesamtes Klavierwerk. Stephan Möller
lehrt an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst

Stephan Möller
was born in Hamburg. He studied piano performance and orchestra
conducting in Hamburg, Bremen and Salzburg. 1983-1989, he worked
at the Salzburg Festival with Herbert von Karajan. In 1985, he was
a prize-winner at the international Beethoven Piano Competition
in Vienna, Austria. Stephan Möller is busily concertizing all
over Europe, the USA, Japan and China. Repertoire highlights are
Beethoven's 32 piano sonatas and 5 piano concertos, Liszt´s
concert paraphrases on Wagner's operas, and compositions for the
computer-assisted Bösendorfer grand piano. Among his CD recordings,
there are such rarities as Beethoven’s Grosse Fuge and Wagner’s
complete piano music. Stephan Möller is on the faculty at the

Die erfolgreiche japanische
Pianistin und Pädagogin ist Präsidentin eines Festivals
für junge Pianisten in Japan. Unter ihren Schülern befinden
sich zahlreiche Preisträger internationaler Wettbewerbe.
In Japan geboren, studierte Taeko Oba u. a. bei
Professor Kazuhiko Nakajima Klavier. An der Universität für
Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien setzte sie ihr Klavierstudium
bei Professor Hans Graf fort. Sie ist eine der erfolgreichsten Klavierpädagoginnen
Japans. Sie leitet eine Klavierklasse an der Gakugei Musik Highschool
in Hamamatsu. Viele ihrer Schüler sind Preisträger nationaler
und internationaler Wettbewerbe. Taeko Oba ist Präsidentin
eines Festivals für junge Pianisten, der „Dryard Academy“.
In zahlreichen Klavierwettbewerben in Japan ist sie als Jurorin
tätig. Sie tritt als Solistin, aber auch in kammermusikalischen
Besetzungen, mit dem Flötisten Richard Stagg (BBC Orchestra)
und im Klavierduo mit dem Pianisten Adrian Cox auf. Ihr außergewöhnlich
weit gespanntes Solorepertoire reicht vom Barock bis zur Moderne.
Ihre besondere Liebe gilt Bach, Chopin und vor allem der französischen

and pedagogue is president of a festival for young pianists in Japan.
Many of her students have won prizes at international competitions.
Taeko Oba was born in Japan, where she studied piano
a.o. with professor Kazuhiko Nakajima. She continued her studies

Hans Graf. As one of the most successful piano pedagogues in Japan
she is on the faculty of Gakugei Musik High School in Hamamatsu.
Many of her students have won prizes at national and international
competitions. Taeko Oba is president of the “Dryard Academy”,
a festival for young pianists in Japan, where she also adjudicates
at various piano competitions. She performs both as a soloist and
as a chamber musician in different sets, such as with the flutist
Richard Stagg (BBC Orchestra) and her piano duo partner Adrian Cox.
Her wide solo repertoire extends from the baroque period to music
of the present day. Areas of particular interest for her are Bach,
Chopin and, most importantly, french music. back

HELMUT WEIHSMANN Austria (g, e)
HELMUT WEIHSMANN, wohnhaft in Wien, erhielt ein Diplom in Architektur an der Technischen Universität Wien. Seit Erlangung seiner Lizenz im Jahr 1980 hat er freiberuflich als Historiker, Kritiker, Kurator und Dozent an verschiedenen Universitäten und renommierten Institutionen in Österreich, Deutschland, Großbritannien, den USA und der Türkei gearbeitet. Er leitet derzeit das Forschungsprojekt „Urbanität & Ästhetik” auf nationalen und internationalen Institutionen oder Verbänden des Bundes Deutscher Architekten BDA. zurück
HELMUT WEIHSMANN, a resident of Vienna, received a master’s degree in architecture from the Technical College of Vienna. Ever since obtaining his license in 1980 he has been freelancing as a historian, critic, curator and teacher at several universities and prestigious institutions in Austria, Germany, Great Britian, USA and Turkey. He is currently the director of the research project „Urbanity & Aesthetics“ at national and international institutions or chapters of the architect’s league BDA in Germany. back

GÜNTHER ZERBES wurde am 21. Februar 1964 in Wien geboren. Medizin- und Gesangsstudium an der Universität Wien und der Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien bei Prof. Adelheid Schmid und Prof. Rolf Sartorius. Günther Zerbes war Chorsänger im Wiener Madrigalchor und seit 1990 im Wiener Staatsopernchor. Daneben geht er einer regen Unterrichtstätigkeit im Fach Gesang sowie in mehreren Fremdsprachen nach. Er war jahrelang als Solist einer reisenden Operntruppe tätig, als Bariton im angestammten Fach sowie Ausflüge ins tiefe Bassfach. Neuerdings ist Günther Zerbes erfolgreicher Leiter mehrerer österreichischer Chöre. zurück

Since recently, Günther Zerbes is a successful chorus master conductingseveral Austrian choirs.
